Your Action Needed - Changes to Cerner, Application Access

Soon, access to BayCare applications (including the EMR) from non-BayCare devices and networks will be simplified and more secure using VDI and Two-Factor Authentication. This process utilizes the Workspace One and VMware Horizon applications.

VDI is a virtual desktop containing BayCare applications that can be accessed from your device and provides a more secure and user friendly experience.

Here’s how it will affect you:

  • All remote access to BayCare clinical information will be through VDI via Workspace One using the Horizon Client.
  • Secure access is available from multiple platforms, including PC, Mac, iOS, and Android devices.
  • Training and Support Materials for Workspace and Horizon are available for all of the above mentioned devices.

If you don’t currently use VDI:

For Providers

Providers can request access from their local clinical support team member or email affiliatedphysupport@baycare.org with your Username and contact information.

For Staff

Sponsoring Physician or Office Delegate must request access by emailing affiliatedphysupport@baycare.org.

If your staff currently do not have access to BayCare, please complete and return the Doctor Connect & HIE Form. The form also can be found on Doctor Connect under Get Credentialed located on the right side of the page (Sponsoring Physician must sign page 1).

If you need additional help logging into a BayCare computer, or you need help with an application, contact one of the BayCare Help Lines.
